Somewhere




    I chose to place myself hovering over the moon because it is somewhere I've never been and will likely never go. The hardest part of this project was definitely adding the adjustment layers and trying to create a shadow that makes it look like I was floating. In order to do that, I turned down the brightness and added a drop shadow. For the drop shadow, I rotated it 90 degrees in order to make it below my feet then I adjusted the distance, size, and spread. The easiest part was probably masking myself out of the original picture. I used the quick selection tool and then a layer mask to cut myself out.

    I really like this project, it's a very cool scenario in which most likely a lot of people will never experience. I think she could maybe add more detail to this project to make it look better overall. It's a very simple and cool project but maybe with more pictures added it would look better. I really like it but with more detail it can be better.

    Hi, great job with this project! I like that you went out of your way to take a photo of yourself that specifically fits well with the overall theme. The shadows you added to make it appear that you're actually floating is a game changer and makes it seem like you're on the moon in real life.

    Your project is fantastic! I also really am fascinated by space and the moon, even though I will most likely never be there. The way you made yourself float in the air was really neat and made it very believable. The colors/tones of the photo of you could be altered a bit so it looks more realistic. Great job!

    I loved this project! I really like how you positioned yourself on the moon, and chose a photo of yourself that kind of looking like you were exploring what you were stepping on. It was cool how it looks like you are almost floating, that was a nice effect. Nice!

Business Cards

      For my business cards, I chose each color scheme because I wanted it to match with the logos. I also wanted to make the cards relatively minimalistic in order to not draw attention away from the logo itself. The most difficult part of this project was definitely coming up with the designs and then trying to create them on InDesign. I think the easiest part was the set up and choosing which font to use as well as the placement of the text.
